My nephew went to Church with us this Sunday. He is not Catholic, but behaved like a Catholic child (which means he fidgeted and talked, and colored on the envelopes in the pews, etc.)
Having never seen a Catholic mass, he was full of questions. At the end of the mass, when the acolyte is clearing off the alter, the acolyte put the cloth over the chalice, my nephew immediately came to attention.
“Oh! Are they getting ready to do magic tricks?”
Yes, dear nephew, they are. J
